Jennifer Lopez and her Office Romance costar Brett Goldstein are not dating.

The two appeared alongside each other on the Tuesday, June 2, broadcast of Today, where Savannah Guthrie asked if the rumors that they’re more than just colleagues are true.

When Guthrie, 54, asked if they are actually dating in real life, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer, 56, replied, “There’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person!”

“I think if you stand near her, that’s what happens,” Goldstein, 45, added. “That’s why I’ve been standing so close this whole time.”

Guthrie pointed out that the pair seemed to be playing coy and pressed, “That was not an answer.”

“That was not an answer? It was an answer!” Lopez replied. “Because all these people that they put me [with]… I think I was with Kevin Costner this year. I was with … there were a lot of people. It happens all the time. Doesn’t make it true.”

“Okay, so you’re not dating in real life?” Guthrie asked, to which Lopez replied: “Not dating.”

“Correct,” Goldstein added.

A source previously told People that Lopez’s “flirty energy with Brett is genuine,” adding: “She really likes him.” However, they noted that she currently didn’t need a relationship in her life.

Lopez has been single since her 2024 divorce from Ben Affleck. The Gigli stars, who were first in a relationship from 2002 to 2004, shocked fans when they rekindled their romance almost two decades later.

In April 2022, they were engaged for a second time and tied the knot on July 16, 2022. In August 2024, Lopez filed for divorce.

Before that, the Kiss of a Spider Woman star was in multiple relationships. She was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998; to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003; and to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014. She was also engaged to Alex Rodriguez and was in a long-term relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
