Wimbledon 2026 results, bracket, schedule: No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka ousted by Naomi Osaka in fourth round
The women's world No. 1 will have to wait another year to get her first grand slam title in London
The top three seeds of the women's draw have been eliminated. On Sunday, No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka fell to No. 14 Naomi Osaka in straight sets for her earliest departure from the tournament since 2019.
Sabalenka struggled all match to keep up with Osaka, the four-time grand slam champion. Sabalenka joins Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek in early departures from the tournament as the women's bracket has gotten wide open all of a sudden with Americans Jessica Pegula (4) and Coco Gauff (7) the highest seeds remaining.
Osaka, meanwhile, advanced to her first career quarterfinal at Wimbledon as she's on the best run to date at the event with the previous best being a third-round appearance.
On the men's side, chalk ruled the day once again as No. 1 Jannik Sinner, No. 3 Felix Auger-Aliassime and No. 7 Novak Djokovic all cruised into the quarters. Auger-Aliassime and Djokovic are set for a quarterfinal showdown while Sinner is paired with Jan Lennard Struff.
CBS Sports was with you throughout the day on Sunday with the latest updates and results from both brackets.
