Travis Kelce is looking back on his milestone year!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, tied the knot with his wife Taylor Swift in a star-studded wedding in front of approximately 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, July 3.
And on Wednesday, July 8, Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, dropped the season finale of their New Heights podcast. While their was no wedding talk during the episode, which featured guest Tom Brady, Travis did look back on his headline-making proposal, which the couple announced on Aug. 26, 2025.
Noting that the proposal happened directly after Swift had appeared alongside him on the New Heights season premiere, which aired on Aug. 13, Travis said, "Starting it with Taylor, pretty epic. During that recording the entire time, I'm planning, like, I'm gonna ask this woman to marry me after."
Travis called the episode "one I'll remember forever."
The NFL star's comments confirmed a long-standing Swiftie theory that the proposal happened right after the pop star's New Heights appearance with the imprint of her headphones on her wavy hair.
Kelce's heartfelt words about their love story milestone comes five days after they tied the knot in an ultra-lavish, highly exclusive wedding ceremony at MSG to mark a new, exciting chapter in their love story that began in the summer of 2023.
For the iconic event, the happy couple had select spaces of the iconic arena transformed.
"It looked like a forest," an insider told PEOPLE exclusively of the decor inside The Garden, which included ferns and trees, with the arena seats covered in white.
During the ceremony, "Taylor walked down the aisle to a stage where they said 'I do,' " said the source, who adds, "their vows were about 20 minutes each," and the "Fate of Ophelia" singer and Chiefs tight end read them from gold books.
The pair also provided guests with embroidered, monogrammed handkerchiefs for any emotional moments throughout the evening.
"After the ceremony, Taylor's mom [Andrea] invited everyone into the reception room where a stage was set up," the source told PEOPLE, adding that Paul McCartney performed The Beatles' hit "I Want to Hold Your Hand" for the crowd. Stevie Nicks, a longtime friend and mentor of Swift's, also performed.
Swift and Kelce were "beaming" all night during their celebration, a different source told PEOPLE.
"A huge smile never left either of their faces," the insider said, sharing that the "fun" ambience included "so many games," a raffle and other "added excitement" to wow their guests.
"The whole evening felt very guest-centric," the source shared. "There was always something to do, see or play. There was never a dull moment."
Swift's rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the 14-time Grammy winner and three-time Super Bowl champion had tied the knot. In a statement, Swift's rep revealed that the bride and groom's ceremony looks were both created by Christian Dior Haute Couture.
"They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom," the statement said.

Swift's rep also shared that the Grammy winner and Kelce did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen.
"Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor's Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis' Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler," the statement continued.
