Fatu, Jimmy and Jey Uso laid out LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys after Monday's main event match



WWE has only so many more attempts to hype up SummerSlam and the promotion attempted to use Raw on Monday night to build some of the matches sitting just outside the main event focus.

That included a big focus on the six-man tag team match set between LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys against The Usos and Jacob Fatu. Knight and Fatu clashed in the night's main event and the six-man chaos ended the night.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit.

The Bloodline handles business against
Solo Sikoa called Seth Rollins to the ring early in the show. Sikoa said that Rollins' SummerSlam match with world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns would not be one-on-one; it would be four-on-one because The Bloodline would get involved. Sikoa then offered to have Rollins' back at SummerSlam. Rollins said that Sikoa made a lot of good points and maybe working together could be special and said he would need to think about it. Sikoa shared one final thought, saying he was willing to do for Rollins what Rollins did for Cody Rhodes against Reigns at WrestleMania. Jacob Fatu then came to the ring and ran off Sikoa, but that allowed Rollins to hit Fatu with a superkick. Rollins would later taunt Fatu backstage, saying he knows Fatu can't touch him because of Reigns' orders, but Fatu pledged to take care of whatever was left of Rollins after SummerSlam.

Jacob Fatu def. LA Knight via pinfall with a moonsault. Before the match, Knight expressed frustration with Fatu offering to help Rollins, both because Knight can't stand Rollins but also because he was taking his eye off the ball of their six-man tag team match with Royce Keys against Fatu and The Usos at SummerSlam. Jimmy Uso interfered in the match, preventing the referee from making a count after Knight hit a BFT. Sikoa ambushed Jimmy, which brought out Jey Uso, which, in turn, brought out Keys. The chaotic scene ended with Fatu getting the win before The Bloodline laid out all three of their upcoming opponents.

This didn't feel like the biggest or most impactful episode of Raw, but did a bit to build up some of the less hyped matches on the SummerSlam card. Sikoa's motivations and allegiances remain a mystery, but in a positive way. He's clearly going to make a big play soon, but it's hard to know what exactly that means. Grade: B

What else happened on WWE Raw?
o Bron Breakker & Austin Theory def. Je'Von Evans & Dragon Lee via pinfall after Breakker hit Lee with a spear -- which was preceded by Maxxine Dupri interfering in the match to help Theory. As The Vision attempted to continue the beatdown after the match, Otis and Akira Tozawa ran in for the save, with Otis even ignoring Dupri slapping him in the face. Eventually, Breakker managed to spear Otis to have the team go out on top.

o Judgment Day demanded Danhausen return their money and Danhausen said he didn't have it, but would find it. Danhausen came to the ring with a bag before Judgment Day entered. Danhausen cursed the group, who then attacked until Joe Hendry made the save, but not before Liv Morgan grabbed Danhausen's briefcase.

o Oba Femi def. JD McDonagh via pinfall with Fall From Grace. The match was made when Danhausen, Hendry, McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio were arguing and McDonagh realized the suitcase was filled with fake money. He threw the briefcase behind him, where it hit Femi. Femi ran through McDonagh in short order.

o Chad Gable & Penta def. Ethan Page & Rusev via submission when Gable forced Rusev to tap to an ankle lock.

o Joe Hendry def. Dominik Mysterio via pinfall. This match was also made during the earlier backstage scuffle that resulted in Femi vs. McDonagh. Danhausen interfered in the match, bringing Iyo Sky out with him in his car. Sky attacked Morgan and Danhausen snuck in the ring to deliver a Danhausen Death Drop to Mysterio to set up the finish.
